MyBlogLog is my favorite social network and Yahoo does a great job keeping the spammers at bay.
I think in the future niche social networks will start up and pull traffic from the general sites. Think forums and social networks merged together.

To BeachBum: yep it could be a possibility in the near future. btw, mybloglog is also my favorite network. atleast i can share my articles with like minded people on this network. people don’t have to worry about spammers getting in thanks to Yahoo!
Even though they are doing a lot, still a few do manage to get through.
