Well, here’s a great piece of article by Mukesh Kesavan at Cricinfo.com who firmly believes and even prays that the Indian Premier League with it’s version of Cricket (Read Twenty20 Cricket) will fail so that it doesn’t cast a shadow on the real thing: Test Cricket. Well, his article is really thought provoking since T20 Cricket has most certainly made a mockery of Cricket by projecting it as a pure batsman oriented game rather than one where a batsman and a bowler hold equal position of influence and power. Thought provoking, indeed.

My suggestion to the IPL management: Why not have a 50 overs tournament rather than 20 overs, to give the bowlers a fair chance as well?
