Well, after spending roughly 20 days in good ol’ India, I flew back into Jeddah this past Saturday and resumed work on Sunday.

The vacation was a mixed bag for me. The only silver lining in it being the stay with my Mom, God Bless her. She is the support of my family and I love her more than anyone. As for the vacation, before I had realized (or unwound) the vacation was over. I was a little annoyed but I guess that’s the way it was meant to be.

Although my vacation was only for two weeks, I had over stayed a week to be with my mom.

In the meantime, I had purchased an Airtel connection for the sole purpose of texting with my fiancee’ while I stayed here until my vacation in November (during which period I plan to get married).
The twist in the story comes when I landed in Jeddah and switched my phone equipped with the Airtel SIM and waited for it to give me some kinda message welcoming me to Int’l roaming or something only to find a blank signal bar staring back at me. This is the twist in the story that was supposed to shock me. I was really very upset with this shocker. Anyway, I now hope to receive a Vodafone SIM sent to me with someone. Let us see what happens then…
